<p><strong>Análisis:</strong> Cada vez son menos los que consideran que <strong>Washington Wizards son una sorpresa pasajera</strong>. Sin embargo, el mismo número de analistas que no contaban con ellos <strong>le están empezando a dar el crédito merecido que, lejos de la etiqueta de caducidad, parece tener cuerda para rato</strong>. No cabe duda de que se trata de un equipo muy joven en sus puestos claves por lo que no es descabellado pensar en los Wizards comandando el Este junto a otras franquicias de éxito. <strong>Con la certeza de un futuro brillante, los capitolinos han firmado una temporada regular positiva, muy por encima de las expectativas creadas</strong>. John Wall se ha colado definitivamente entre los mejores bases de la liga, más allá de liderar la estadística en esta Conferencia, y al verlo jugar uno se imagina que lo que este equipo pueda ser en el futuro pasa por sus manos. <strong>Aparte de Wall, el pívot brasileño Nene Hilario supone la máxima amenaza en su juego interior</strong>, y dada la escaseza de pívots dominantes en el Este, habrá que ver el juego que los Wizards pueden sacar a su dominancia. <strong>Marcin Gortat y Trevor Ariza completan una primera unidad consciente de que sus opciones pasan por el rebote y su mejorada defensa</strong>, especialmente en el caso de Ariza, que parece que tras años desaparecido, ha rejuvenecido para la causa.</p>
